The Grand Strategy Heritage Working Group hosts The Grand River Watershed 16th Annual Heritage Day Workshop & Celebration. Learn how Halidmand was impacted by the War and what people are doing to commemorate the Bicentennial. Several 1812 projects are showcased at the end of a day full of presentations and activities. These include a sneak preview of "A Desert Between Us & Them" documentary; the launch of the exhibit "Legacy of the Grand River" and the anticipated Route 1812 map as well as a map for 1812 sites in Haldimand County.
